Step 3 - The Review
Individual Meeting with the Business Owner/CEO/President:
The strategic performance review begins with an individual meeting with the Business Owner/CEO/President to review the findings for the CEO, Board, Management, and/or Employee Reports. The review will provide an overview of the report and evaluate the performance of the different elements of strategy, design, and culture that are driving the growth, profits, and value of the business. In the review, the performance issues of the business will be discussed, areas of management/employee agreement and disagreement identified, and primary business performance objectives clarified.
Strategic Performance Review with the Management Team:
After meeting with the owner or senior decision maker, the report will be reviewed with the management team. The management team will be shown how to interpret the findings in the report. Time will be provided for each individual manager to review the report. The management team will then meet as a group(s) to discuss the findings. With an understanding of the report, the management team validates and agrees on the High Impact/Low Performance Areas of the Business. Next, the management team prioritizes the top (usually three) performance improvement goals. With the top performance improvement goals identified, the strategic performance review with the management team is complete.
